The Dev Bhoomi Group of Institutions is having
excellent modern infrastructural facilities. In addition to
classrooms, there are required number of Laboratory Rooms to
impart the course curriculum, housed with latest Lab Equipment,
Measuring Instruments and Scientific Modern Gadgets & Computers, for
conducting purposeful experiments for Practical Work and Research /
Innovation. Also, there is a huge Central Library in addition to
respective course libraries, as per the norms. All Infrastructural
requirements are fulfilled as per AICTE guidelines, to achieve
better Academic Ambience. The classroom sessions are undertaken by
the Faculty Members through PowerPoint Presentation, operated from
their respective laptops and / or with the help of LCD / OHD
projectors. Each of the students & the Faculty Members, is provided
with a modern Laptop. The whole campus is having the facility of Wi-
Fi connectivity.
Computer
Center
DBIT has huge tastefully
designed fully equipped state-of-the-art computer
Center having labs, with underground network cabling and
centralized controlling equipment for monitoring network
workstations. The students avail computer facilities on one-to-one
basis for long hours. All the labs are networked and
24-hours internet facility is available through Internet Leased Line
of speed 2 Mbps (1:1). Entire Dev Bhoomi Campus is Wi-Fi enabled.
The Computer center is designed, laid out and equipped so
scientifically that students can spend hours together at the
terminal without fatigue.
The total infrastructural facilities available at our computer
center in terms of hardware, software and collection of books
comply with International standards and encourage students to
develop their own application programs.
Institute has Software License Agreement with Microsoft
Inc. under Microsoft Campus Agreement thus all computer labs
are equipped with original Microsoft Softwares viz. Windows XP,
Office-2007, DOT.NET, VJ++, VB, VC++, MSDN help library, Microsoft
Exchange Server, Sharepoint, Windows-2000 Server, SMS-Server etc.

Central Library
The Library (learning Resource Centre) plays
a vital role in providing & nurturing knowledge and aiding in
learning & teaching activities. The primary purpose of the library
is to support teaching, research, academic and management
programs.The Library is well–stocked with a wide range of
books, journals, news papers, statistics, periodicals, prescribed
titles and the reference material. It is available to students
from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm every day. The library catalogue
containing details of all titles held is maintained for quick
reference. A large number of journals are also available on
regular subscription and more are on the way.
The Institute has a well – stocked library, consisting of
reading rooms, references and lending sections. The Institute
library has nearly 15,000 books and more than 3,000 titles in the
field of Engineering and Humanities. Along with a rich collection
of journals and periodicals on different topics, the library also
has a wide and relevant collection of CD ROMs on various related
subjects. The library can boost of world wide data search through
Internet and e-mail, VCP, colour TV, Audio-Visual aids on
different subjects and reprographic facility available to the
students.
A separate Digital Library has been established with
membership of DELNET which can access more then 1200 National /
International Journals thousands of publications.
Hostels within the Campus - Separately For Boys &
Girls
To cater outstation students, DBIT has
arranged to offer a Hostel accommodation Quality mess facility.
There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The rooms are
spacious, properly ventilated & provided with fans, tube lights and
required furnitures. Hostel has got the telephone receiving
facility.
The Institute - hired hostels are in under
the direct control of the warden, who acts as the local guardian for
all students.
Every effort is made to ensure the comfort
and safety of the students living in hostels. There is 24 hours
Generator backup in all the hostel rooms and there are Resident
Wardens.
Parents/ Guardians are required to ensure
that students do not make frequent and long / unauthorized visits to
their homes. This certainly would adversely affect their studies and
performance.
Seats in the DBIT hostels will be filled on
“First come first serve basis”. In case, if any student, does not
get any accommodation in our hostel he/ she may be shifted to any
other hostel, managed by other person but intermittently checked up
by DBIT.
Canteen and Mess
The Institute provides canteen and mess
facilities to the students, faculty and staff. Most of the daily
need items and refreshments are available within campus at DBIT
canteen, which remain open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Availability
of tasty,hygenic and nutritious food at subsidized/ reasonable rates are
ensured by DBIT.
